Mk. 1 Grenade

$ 32.00

WW1 US Mk. I Grenade INERT Resin Replica

This is our Museum Quality INERT, 1 piece resin reproduction of the WWI US Mk. I grenade. It was cast from an original Mk. I grenade. It features the not so successful Mk. 1 grenade fuse on the Mk. I grenade body, the United States first attempt at the modern grenade. According to history books the Mk.1 grenade was produced from August 1917 until July 1918.

This is a good alternative to carrying your expensive and heavy original into the field, or a Museum Quality display piece. This replica was cast in a silicone mold so it holds all of the detail of the original from which the mold was made. It is cast in a gray resin and coated with a metal filler, to give this reproduction a metallic "sheen".

(due to the handcast nature of our products, the colors may vary slightly)

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. THIS IS A PLASTIC REPRODUCTION, IT WAS NOT, NOR COULD IT EVER, BE CONVERTED INTO AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. IT IS PLASTIC AND MADE IN MY WERKSHOP, HERE IN THE USA!!!

Items from theFieldWerks are cast from INERT, demilled originals, unless otherwise stated.

*Side Note* We make and sell these items and the demand is often great enough that I am not able to keep items in stock, but have to make items as ordered. Please email me if you need items shipped sooner than 10 days from time of payment, I'll see what I can do. Thank you for your patience.
