Japanese Type 91 Grenade
This item is a multi-piece, Museum Quality, resin replica of a Japanese Type 91 Hand Grenade. Similar to the Type 97 grenade, this version was capable of being used as a hand grenade. Unlike the Type 97, the Type 91 was also used as a rifle grenade, additionally, it was used in the 50mm mortar. The Type 91 was used primarily as a hand grenade and resulted in the creation of the Type 97 grenade, which lacked the auxiliary propellant. This reproduction was cast from a demilled grenade. The body and auxiliary propellant are one piece, followed by the fuse, with a hand made metal pin and a pull cord.
(due to the handcast nature of our products, the colors may vary slightly)
